Production Manager (supplemental)

The Job

Production Manager will independently carry out the physical production demands on a variety of shoots across campaigns for HBO and HBO MAX. Projects vary from promos, to featurettes, to BTS and interviews. Primary responsibilities will involve budgeting, scheduling, crew booking, negotiating equipment costs and execution of Business Affairs related contracts and agreements. The PM will liaise directly with Creative Directors, Associate Creative Directors and Producers in order execute the wide variety of marketing shoots across all HBO and HBO MAX platforms. Working closely with Finance and Account Management, the PM will track and log all shoot related expenditures. The PM will provide support to the Line Producers on larger campaigns when needed.

The Daily
• Supervise crews, schedules and equipment when on set/location
• Liaise with Creative Directors, ACD's and Producers in order to develop and achieve creative goals
• Provide shoot estimates based on treatments and scripts
• Negotiate with vendors and finalize rental agreements
• Talent scheduling and communication with talent reps
• Liaise with Finance and Account Management teams to process, track and log all expenditures

The Essentials
• 5+ years production experience
• Crew and vendor contacts and resources
• Ability to budget single and multi-day projects
• Working knowledge of lighting, grip and camera equipment along with emerging technologies
• Positive attitude, organized thinker and diplomatic approach
• Willing to have flexibility in schedule, working long hours when necessary
• Creative thinker with ability to multi-task
