The Job

WarnerMedia produces local language unscripted content for HBO Max in The Netherlands, covering a range of genres.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Production Manager for our Unscripted Originals team in The Netherlands. Reporting to the Executive Producer of Unscripted Programming, you will support the production of HBO Max unscripted projects suitable for release on the HBO Max platform. You will leverage your experience as a producer in (pre) production and post-production, interacting with key stakeholders internally and externally during the process.

The Daily
• Work with the Executive producer for Unscripted Original Production, The Netherlands to support the local production of unscripted originals.
• Support reviews on proposed production budgets.
• During pre-production, production and post-production oversee the budget, providing insight to inform decision-making.
• Day-to-day communication and troubleshoot all issues with external production companies, in order to efficiently manage productions and on-time delivery.
• Support production companies and advise on the technical aspects of delivery.
• Ensure that production companies as well as internal stakeholders are aligned.
• Plan, manage and oversee the on-time delivery of all assets during pre-production, production and postproduction. Working closely with external production companies and with our HBO-Max marketing & pr, legal and traffic & operation teams.
• Responsible for post-production checks on delivery of all assets and streamline internal production flows.
• Attend production meetings as required.

The Essentials
• At least 4 years of experience working in unscripted production – preferably as a production manager or similar position.
• Budgeting and scheduling ownership of productions.
• Track record of handling multiple projects in a dynamic production environment, under deadline.
• Great communication skills
• Fluent or near fluent English and Dutch.
