Job Description
The Photo Asset Specialist manages the organization and distribution of HBO and MAX original
photography within the various digital asset management systems utilized company wide.
Key Responsibilities:
• Asset Ingestion & Organization: Manage the intake of new photos, quality control of all assets to make sure delivery meets all standards.
• Metadata & Taxonomy: Enforce standards for metadata, ensuring assets are easily searchable.
• Distribution & Access: Fulfill requests from internal teams (marketing, creative, consumer products) and external partners, managing access via platforms like CORE, AEM, and DF STUDIO.
• Collaboration: Act as a liaison between photo producers and clients (both internal/external) to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
• Photo Editing/Research: Work with photo producers to curate specialty request.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
• 4-5 years experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM)
• Experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM)
• Strong understanding of photo file types, metadata, and best practices.
• Proficiency with DAM software and tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Bridge, DF Studio,AEM).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong eye for visual storytelling, composition, and detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of color management and image editing basics.
• Knowledge of copyright laws and usage/licensing agreements and clearance
