The Role
The Paid Social Analyst will lead the implementation and development of the paid social channel, maximizing subscriptions to HBO Max at cost-effective levels. Reporting to the Paid Social Manager, the successful candidate will also integrate cross-functionally, regularly liaising with other teams within Subscriber Acquisition and the wider business org.
Specific Responsibilities
• This role with work closely with the Paid Social Manager, to leverage bid-based buying techniques and optimization campaigns across several platforms, including Meta, Snap, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit.
• Help to build, traffic, and QA paid social campaigns within the social buying platforms while training to be able to manage optimizations.
• Support the paid media strategy and performance of Paid Social
• Contribute to Paid Social planning and vendor meetings, ensuring both functions are optimized to achieve high levels of growth with a focus on Return on Investment (ROI)
• Work closely with the planning teams to recommend paid social strategies and budget.
• Clearly communicate campaign performance metrics and facilitate reporting, with a critical eye for accuracy.
• Effectively document strategies and approach to drive common understanding.
• Manage ad trafficking to ensure campaigns run accurately and deliver in full.
• Keep abreast of market trends and developments
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of digital paid media buying experience, ideally with in-platform Social Media partners.
• Understanding of paid media, attribution, conversion tracking, and marketing KPIs.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, positive demeanor, and excellent communicator.
• Polished with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Data-driven mindset and a comfort with numbers.
• Proficient in Productivity/Collaboration tools such as Office 365 or Google Workspace, particularly excel.
• Proven project management, self-organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to multi-task with effective resolution management in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to change and continually evolve skills to meet the ever-changing needs of the direct-to-consumer and digital industry.
• College degree required.
• Must have the legal right to work in the country you are applying for.
