Job Description
As Manager/Senior Manager, Communications, you will play a pivotal role in driving success for the WBD Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong Communications team, with specific alignment to the HBO Max streaming service, title Publicity and corporate communications across channels and platforms. We are looking for a highly organized, collaborative and strategic team player to lead and execute publicity and communication strategies across multiple markets.
The role reports to the Senior Director of Communications, Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong and will work closely with other cross functional teams such as Affiliates, Streaming, legal, Marketing, Programming, Commercial Strategy and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Publicity and Corporate Communications activities independently, including planning, strategies, and direction of external agencies to deliver targeted and successful campaigns that promote awareness and engagement with content and activities.
• Lead publicity including title launch / sustaining strategies, physical activations, junkets, interviews, talent management, global liaison. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to deliver against strategies.
• Support Senior Director of Communications, Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, in delivering a clear corporate communications strategy for the region.
• Support profile strategy for key Executives as required including interviews, conferences and speaking engagements.
• In consultation with Senior Director of Communications, Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, contribute to management of internal and external crisis situations when required.
• Develop clear KPI's and measures of success for all communications initiatives.
• Monitor traction and coverage of efforts and document via trackers and reports to ensure improvement of outreach and visibility.
• Partner effectively with all internal functions, including streaming, content, marketing, research, commercial and advertising teams.
• Support Senior Director in administrative matters as well as coordination of assets and material dissemination to internal and external teams.
The Essentials
• At least 7-8 years of Communications experience; industry, media or agency experience in Southeast Asia preferred.
• Demonstration of devising and implementing creative and strategic publicity and corporate communications plans, including understanding of corporate positioning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship and operations skills, with a high degree of professionalism and a team player.
• Comfortable with a large, diverse workload and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management and multitasker with passion for media and entertainment.
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with press and key stakeholders.
• Passion for entertainment, titles, and Public Relations / Publicity.
• Respectful individual and committed to securing quality results, going above and beyond.
• Business or conversational comprehension of Simplified & Traditional Chinese and/or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
