The Job

The Manager, Lifecycle Analytics will be responsible for supporting and driving marketing growth and lifecycle marketing initiatives through data and insights. The candidate will be responsible for partnering with other marketing stakeholders as well as product, data & planning, finance, payment, creative, customer service and content experience to develop a holistic view of the user lifecycle performance. Ties learnings to key performance indicators, regularly presents findings to stakeholder and exhibits a strong sense of ownership.

The Daily
• Serves as the expert in understanding the relationship between subscriber behavior and every-changing market conditions and apply insights to help drive new opportunities across marketing, content and product
• Has a clear understanding of the consumer needs and work with other analysts and data scientists across the company to find methods for improving the consumer experience, increase retention and engagement, improve conversion rates, maximize monetization opportunities
• Partners closely with Data Insights and Planning, Research, Content Experience, Marketing and Product Teams to identify growth levers and signals
• Introduces and gains alignment of analytical models and metrics to assess performance of marketing programs including response, incremental impact, engagement forecasting and deep dive analysis to understand short / long term customer behavior impacts
• Partners with data and engineering teams to ensure proper and timely data flows in analytics systems as well as for the development of dashboards and and reporting tools
• Performs A/B iterative experimentation and other testing initiatives
• Consolidates reports and analysis for MBR and QBR to be presented to leadership

The Essentials
• 5-7 years of experience in a marketing analytics, data or business intelligence role, preferably in a media company
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Mathematics, or related field is required
• Experience with CRM (email) platforms and marketing performance platforms such as Braze, PostUp, Adobe Marketing, Kochava, Marketo, others
• Experience with product analytics, advanced behavioral analytics and visualization platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Conviva, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Tableau, Domo, Looker
• Experience working with DWs, CDP and DMP platforms such as Segment, mParticle, Oracle's BluKai or others
• Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable
• Intermediate to strong technical skills; including experience with SQL, data mining, and designing analytics data layers
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills - particularly within large organizations
• Must be comfortable managing projects and timelines
