Your New Role

The Manager, Finance Direct-to-Consumer will manage the HBO Max and Discovery+ non-media marketing financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities include, managing the Global non-media long-range plan, monthly forecast, and financial reporting. Responsible for coordinating with the marketing teams, regional Finance, and other Finance teams to gather business insights for forecast, budgets and LRP development. Key role in ensuring continuous management of budgets and spend to support synergies and budget targets. In charge of providing guidance and developing guardrails and processes to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the non-media financial planning, reporting and overall financial operations. The role will serve as partner to the business in executing the long-range plan, monthly forecast, and financial reporting. Supervises Center of Excellence support staff, partnering in setting goals, providing direction, supporting, and assisting in career development plans. Advanced knowledge of the principles and theories of finance, accounting, statistics, and other related disciplines to plan, design and conduct financial business analyses is critical for this role.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Responsible for the preparation of the annual US non-media marketing budgets and long-range-plan
• Manage the planning, coordination and preparation of the US non-media marketing monthly forecast process and ensure a timely and organized execution. Partner with accounting department to ensure proper month & annual close process and compliance with accounting policy and SOX controls
• Perform and present analysis of global non-media view to report to Finance and the business leadership. Work closely with the regional Finance team to understand business drivers and financial insights.
• Support the development of innovative analyses that measure operational performance and uncover insights not captured in basic financial statements, prepare in-depth executive level summary.
• Serve as business partner to support the marketing team in operational financial matters. Provide continuous guidance in execution of financial deliverables as well as management of operational needs. Produce timely, high-quality, executive leadership reporting to enable decision making for marketing and finance. Ensure financial operations efficiency. Develop and implement analytical tools and ensure that analyses add value by providing timely and pertinent information to support management decision making
• Function as project manager and participate in cross-division projects; organize meetings, collect, and summarize data, present findings in an executive summary format
• Conduct and participate in meetings with business unit's Financial and Operating Senior Management teams and other Finance and business partners to gain insight into overall financial strategies
• Indirectly manage the Center of Excellence (COE) support staff, partnering in setting goals, providing direction, supporting, and assisting in career development plans

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 3 years of progressive Finance and experience
• Financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting experience required
• Consolidated management reporting and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and make high level recommendations to senior leadership
• Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects and work in a fast-paced, project/deadline-driven environment
• BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Prior experience with standard financial applications (Hyperion, SAP, Essbase or related) preferred
• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to apply to influence and drive decision making
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and constituents that span multiple geographies globally
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; a confident communicator able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with a high degree of professionalism
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Quantitative analysis skills
• Work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division.
• Good problem resolution skills, strong organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage / develop staff
• Strong diligence / experience working with high volume of data preferred.
• Work well under time constraints
• Must be able to develop and implement projects
• Work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division
• Knowledge and passion for Media/Entertainment industry a plus

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $95,550.00 - $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
