The Job
The Manager, Audience Strategy & Optimization for South Korea will be responsible for supporting marketing growth and lifecycle marketing initiatives through data and insights with emphasis on audience segmentation and growth levers. S/he will be responsible for partnering with the team to collect reporting and analysis requirements, working with the engineering team to ensure proper data flows of consumer and performance data, managing analytics vendor day-to-day relationships, and partnering with other teams (product, content, data, marketing) to provide clear recommendations on segmentation, creative strategy, content, monetization, retention, conversion optimization and other analyses to drive incremental results for HBO Max with focus on CRM and Lifecycle.

The Daily
• Partner closely with Data Insights and Planning, Content Experience, Marketing and Product Teams to identify potential pockets of growth as well as growth levers and signals.
• Identify, plan and manage audiences in a sequenced and organized manner, leveraging 1st party data as well as other data sources as needed.
• Build A/B experimentation frameworks using statistical sounded methods to be used by other team members.
• Develop analytics and reporting frameworks and dashboards for CRM programs.
• Work with the Data Ops and Engineering teams to identify and prioritize consumer touchpoints and attributes used to support audience segmentation & targeting, marketing campaign activation and measurement.
• Coach team member to foster analytical mindset and equips them with the necessary tools to perform self-serve campaign analysis.
• Consolidate reports and analysis for MBR and QBR to be presented to leadership.

The Essentials
• At least 5-7 years of experience in a marketing analytics, data or business intelligence role, preferably in a media company.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Mathematics, or related field is required.
• Experience with CRM (email) platforms and marketing performance platforms such as Braze, PostUp, Adobe Marketing, Kochava, Marketo, others.
• Experience with product analytics, advanced behavioral analytics and visualization platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Conviva, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Tableau, Domo, Looker.
• Experience working with DWs, CDP and DMP platforms such as Segment, mParticle, Oracle's BluKai or others.
• Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable.
• Intermediate to strong technical skills; including experience with SQL, data mining, and designing analytics data layers.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills - particularly within large organizations.
• Must be comfortable managing projects and timelines.
