Executive Producer, Unscripted Production, Central Europe

Job Description

WarnerMedia (WM) produces local language unscripted content for HBO Max in Central Europe, this content will cover a range of unscripted genres.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and self-motivated Executive Producer for our Unscripted Originals team in the Central Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania). The role will report to the Vice President Original Production, Central Europe but will work closely on the editorial side with Head of Original Unscripted Production, EMEA.

You will leverage your experience as a producer in both development and production, along with a knowledge of the creative and business issues involved in bringing new projects from idea to launch. You will see selected LOP through the production process including casting, reviewing edits and other key creative and editorial decisions. You will attend pitches and review material to deliver informed and productive feedback and will be part of building the original content slate for HBO Max in the Central Europe, joining a dynamic and enthusiastic team.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience of non-scripted production in Central Europe. Someone with connections on both the creative and production side of the business. A team player who can work with existing stakeholders as well as bring in new business.

The Daily
• Work with Vice President Original Production Central Europe, Head of Unscripted Original Production and Local Original Production Executive Producers to support the development and production of unscripted originals in Central Europe
• Cultivate creative relationships in the Local unscripted marketplace
• Solicit and assess proposals and pitches, making recommendations on submissions to enter into development and providing feedback
• Collaborate with Production, Legal and Business Affairs to secure production and talent for original programming
• Act as a point of contact and support for the local CE creative community (production companies, talent etc.)
• Manage production of new programs from inception to launch, interacting with key stakeholders internally and externally during the process
• Support and coach productions in the creative process at all stages – ensuring the quality and vision of the projects/ HBO Max
• Review and negotiate production budgets; ability to dive deep into a budget to know its ' efficiency
• Attend business, development and production meetings as required
• Ensure the delivery of all project deliverables on time, on budget and of the highest quality

The Essentials
• A proven player in the unscripted community as a showrunner, producer, executive producer or similar
• Track record of handling multiple projects in a dynamic production environment, under deadlines
• Proven experience overseeing the execution of successful unscripted series
• Budgeting and scheduling ownership of productions
• Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to lead, supervise and execute projects from concept through delivery
• Experience collaborating with high-level on and off-screen talent
• Fluent or near fluent English
