The Job

The Content Programmer I is responsible for finding engaging sports content for B/R's social platforms. This person will be responsible for programming across B/R's highly engaged social channels. The perfect candidate should be up to date on the latest TikTok trends.

The Daily
• Program engaging content on our social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and TikTok.
• Create social posts about breaking news, viral moments in sports and culture
• Program the best content about relevant leagues, teams and athletes across all platforms
• Help utilize B/R's voice as you distribute content across platforms

The Essentials
• Passionate sports fan, this person loves all sports
• Lives, breathes, sleeps social media. This person is constantly on social media and thinking of innovative ideas for the platforms.
• Love pop culture. This individual is passionate about the latest trends and knows the latest memes.
• Frequent user of social media, understanding how it works as a user
• A keen awareness of Bleacher Report's voice. When breaking news happens, be expected to know how B/R reacts on multiple platforms
• Well versed in the world of sports culture. Monitoring Twitter, social media platforms, and other social aggregation tools are examples of activities an ideal candidate would perform on a daily basis
• Understanding and/or expertise of B/R Portfolio brands is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of CBB, CFB, MLB, NHL, Combat Sports a plus
• Willingness to work nights and weekends
