Communication Specialist HBO Max - 1 year FTC

HBO Max is preparing to launch in the Italian market, and we are looking for a Communication Specialist to join our team, initially on a one year fixed term contract. This role reports directly to the Director of Communications and will be instrumental in supporting and executing the platform's launch and the ongoing communication strategy in Italy.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Support the development and implementation of PR strategies for HBO Max's Italian launch and long-term presence.
• Draft and localize press materials, including press releases, Q&As, backgrounders, and media alerts.
• Monitor media coverage and support in reporting, analysis, and internal communication updates.
• Manage media lists, coordinate press outreach, and oversee logistics for press events.
• Support and lead talent liaison activities for local original productions, including during events, festivals, and awards.
• Coordinate with local and international PR agencies and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and aligned timelines.

Qualifications & Experience…
• Proven experience in communications or press office roles, ideally in entertainment, media, or tech.
• Strong knowledge of the Italian media and entertainment landscape.
• Experience working in international environments.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in both Italian and English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Passion for entertainment, media, and streaming culture.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
