Associate Writer Producer- HBO/HBO Max Creative Services (Multi-cultural )

OVERALL SUMMARY:

We're looking for a full time Associate Writer/Producer who has solid writing, production and editing skills as well as knowledge of all aspects of post-production. The candidate also must be able to execute multiple assignments including on-air and off-channel promos, sales presentations and short form editorial content often under tight deadlines. Must speak and write Spanish with great proficiency.

Must have the ability to look ahead, brainstorm, pitch and produce ideas. Communicate concepts and ideas to the Associate Creative Director, Creative Director, Marketing Director, VP of Marketing, editors, designers and animators, making sure all elements conform to the brand and the mission of the network.

The Daily
• Edits promotional creative pieces such as trailers, promos, and extra content.
• Assist in production shoots, be available to travel on short notice to provide production
coverage.
• Assists the team creating, writing and/or editing content along with logistical project oversight.
• Coordinate and administer format items for HBO. Produce dubbed versions of HBO main
previews, pull clips for Video custom Next-Ons, submit requests for digitizing, track HBO Latin
America assets. Every month, input the list of HBO format items that need to be created. Revise
the list, update the list and troubleshoot any errors that may occur.

REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience as an Associate Writer/Producer in on-air promotions and marketing. Experience in TV, or Streaming service is desired.
- Strong knowledge of promo editorial process from beginning to end. Extensive
knowledge and familiarity with AVID, or Premiere software.
- Interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Keen sense of graphic design, music and sound design. Ability to juggle several projects at one time often under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in written/spoken Spanish.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Latinx culture in the US.
- Ability to travel on short notice.
