Your New Role…
The Global Streaming Strategy Team is responsible for the development and execution of global strategic plans for Warner Bros. Discovery streaming initiatives (including HBO Max and Discovery+). As part of the larger Streaming and Interactive organization, the team executes on detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis to further the strategic priorities of our streaming platforms.
Your Role Accountabilities...
We are looking for an Analyst or Sr. Analyst, based in New York or LA, who will provide support on and lead high impact strategy projects, analyses and processes covering HBO Max, Discovery+ and other streaming initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Streaming Strategy, this Analyst or Sr. Analyst will focus on projects, analyses and processes that help HBO Max and Discovery+ management and teams across the globe make and implement strategy decisions and maximize the impact of investments and activities. This role requires a high level of collaboration with partners from teams across Warner Bros. Discovery.
• Build analyses and analysis tools to drive strategy decision-making for management and teams
• Support the development and implementation of data-driven and customer-centric strategies to drive growth
• Create executive-ready presentations to summarize key findings and recommendations, and facilitate collaborate and implementation
• Analyze on-platform behavior, partnering closely with Data and Research teams
• Maintain advanced knowledge of the industry, consumer trends, and the Streaming business
• Collaborate with internal partners, including from Data, Research, Finance, Marketing, Product, Content, Technology, Ad Sales, and Distribution in support of initiatives
• Provide support for both Warner Bros. Discovery and Streaming management, including strategy reviews, executive presentations, and other management-level deliverables
Qualifications & Experience...
Analyst: 1-2 years of work experience preferred that includes one or a combination of the following:
Sr. Analyst: At least 2 years of work experience preferred that includes one or a combination of the following:
• Management consulting within the Media, Technology, or Telecom practice
• Investment banking within the Media, Technology, or Telecom practice
• Investment banking within the Media
• Strategy or corporate development at a media or technology company
• Strong modeling skills (Excel) and familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools (SQL, Looker, Tableau)
• Strong presentation development skills (PowerPoint)
• A keen eye for presentation design and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous deliverables under tight deadlines
• Passionate about media and entertainment with a voracious appetite for industry news
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative DNA
• Experience interfacing and presenting to senior executives
• High level of integrity, strong work ethic, deep intellectual curiosity, and out-of-the-box thinking
• Ability to thrive and take initiative in fast-paced, ambiguous situations

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $64,400.00 - $119,600.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
