About Vertical Sales:

Gray Vertical Sales provides marketing and advertising support for healthcare and automotive clients. The Vertical Sales team works directly with national accounts and local station sales teams to develop incremental and new revenue for these two essential revenue categories.

Job Summary/Description:

As part of the camera department, you will act as the lead creative on set and represent the look, feel, and style for assigned commercial shoots. Collaborating with the producer, you will execute the vision of the client by using unique and high-quality storytelling techniques. Tasks include, but are not limited to, pre-visualization, gear preparation, location scouting, production crew duties, and lead camera operation.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
* Conceptualize and create compelling, high-quality video content
* Maximize tools and resources to develop new approaches and techniques
* Maintain, organize and manage camera and field production equipment
* Collaborate with producers, editors, and clients to determine the best creative approach for field production shoots and final project delivery
* Find and scout locations, assessing potential obstacles and issues that could arise
* Accustomed to quick-turnaround situations and can troubleshoot independently
* Exhibits a professional and energetic attitude on-set for others to follow
* Coordinates responsibilities for all on-set production personnel; including freelance vendors and support staff

Qualifications/Requirements:
*3-5 years experience in a commercial video or creative agency environment
*A sharp eye for creative cinematography, dynamic lighting, and visual storytelling
*The ability to shoot for various platforms including; broadcast, digital, promotional, social and commercial content
*Advanced knowledge and experience with Canon, Sony or Panasonic cinematic cameras, various lens packages, filters, gimbals, and support gear
*Experience using audio field production gear including; shotgun and lavaliere microphones and digital sound recording systems
*Extensive knowledge of the latest professional field production tools, video formats, codecs, media management workflows, and color profiles
*A passion for the latest trends in film and video production, digital media, advertising, and pop culture
*An expert in time management and logistical thinking
*An organized and forward-thinking creator who can collaborate with internal and external clients
*An open-minded and flexible attitude in the face of high pressure and stressful situations
*Must be able to travel at least 75% based on production schedules and locations
*The ability to lift at least 25 pounds and manage the loading and lifting production gear
