Job Summary/Description:

The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing & managing various aspects of Raycom Sports' Production & Technical Operations, including live remote event productions, transmission, quality control, equipment acquisition installation, maintenance & repair as well as managing technical & operations personnel. The position is Charlotte, NC based and requires travel to event locations.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Manage Raycom Sports' Technical Operations Including Live Remote Production Equipment & Personnel & Overseeing Satellite, Fiber & IP Transmission & Distribution
* Assist in Departmental Budgeting Process
* Assist in Production RFP Preparation and implementation
* Oversee New Equipment Specification, Purchase, Installation & Documentation
* Fill in for Other Departmental Engineers' Time Off as Production Truck EIC or E2/Maintenance Engineer
* Establish Safe Work Environment & Assure Adherence to State & Federal Regulations

Qualifications/Requirements:
* 7+ years of broadcast engineering and/or remote production engineering experience
* Working Knowledge of IT Processes including Network Security, Workflow and Network Management
* Flexible work schedule including working evenings, weekends, holidays and emergency on call
* Travel required both regionally and nationally. Current valid driver's license and good driving record required
* Able to Problem Solve in a Live Broadcast Event Environment
* Ability to work well with coworkers, clients and contract personnel
