Job Summary/Description:

Raycom Sports is currently seeking a Technical Operations Director. The Technical Operations Director is responsible for overseeing & managing all aspects of Raycom Sports Production & Technical Operations, including live remote event productions, transmission, quality control, managing technical & operations personnel. The Position is Charlotte NC based, requires some travel and on site supervision.

The successful candidate's responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
* Manage Raycom Sports Technical Operations Including Live Remote Production Equipment & Personnel as well as Satellite, Fiber, IP Transmission & Distribution.
* Prepare & Manage Departmental Budget.
* Oversee New Equipment Specification, Purchase, Installation & Documentation
* Establish Safe Work Environment & Assure Adherence to State & Federal Regulations
* Work with internal Personnel & Clients on RFP's & Support Existing Business Requirements & Needs

Qualifications/Requirements:
* 7+ years of broadcast engineering and/or remote production engineering experience.
* Working Knowledge of IT Processes including Network Security, Workflow and Network Management.
* Flexible work schedule including working evenings, weekends, holidays and emergency on call.
* Some Travel required both regionally and nationally. Current valid drivers license and good driving record.
* Able to Problem Solve in a Live Event Environment.
* Ability to work well with coworkers, clients and contract personnel.
