PHP LARAVEL DEVELOPER (REMOTE/USA) - GDM

Job Summary/Description:

Gray TV is looking for a PHP developer proficient in PHP (7+) and the Laravel Framework. This position will work alongside the rest of the Gray Digital Development team to deliver timely updates and features to both websites, internal tools, and mobile applications.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Create, update, and maintain applications using PHP
- Assist in converting legacy PHP projects to Laravel
- Create internal APIs and integrate with external APIs
- Design and maintain MySQL databases on a per application basis
- Create front-end forms and pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Work with project managers to gather requirements, review applications, and provide technical insight
- Collaborate with other developers on multi-developer projects

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working with PHP in a production environment
- 1+ years of experience working with Laravel
- Proficient with relational databases such as MySQL
- Proficient parsing and serializing JSON data
- Core knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Bootstrap framework
- Experience using AWS services such as S3, EC2, and RDS

Bonus
- Experience with React or Vue.js
- Experience with AWS Lambda and other server-less technologies
