About WSAW:

WSAW is Wausau's first TV station, debuting in 1954. It is a CBS affiliated station that serves northcentral Wisconsin. Northcentral Wisconsin is known for its agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare and the area is a tourism destination.

WZAW is Wausau's FOX affiliate and home of ''Packer Football'' airing more Packer regular season games than all other stations combined. WZAW produces local newscasts M-F at 4:00pm and 9:00pm.

Job Summary/Description:

WSAW is a CBS, FOX and CW affiliate in Wausau, WI is seeking an IT/Broadcast Engineer.

The Broadcast Engineer will support all programming and post-production at WSAW/WZAW/WYOW. Duties will include troubleshooting, maintaining, installing studio and editing and IT equipment. The Broadcast Engineer interacts daily with News and Production staff and will be required to follow all FCC standards and guidelines. Qualifications/Requirements:
- Computer experience and willingness to learn are a must.
- A successful applicant will be dependable, focused, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure with strict deadlines and have strong multi-tasking skills.
