Job Summary/Description:
The Shared Services Accounts Receivable Team Lead is responsible for leading, managing, and developing AR Team members in their daily operations. The AR Team Lead will monitor the workload and productivity of the AR team while providing training and direction to maximize efficiency and performance.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage the day-to-day activities of a multi-person team servicing multiple stations.
• Manage using strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Train team members.
• Ensure team members are adhering to policies and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and reduce risk.
• Assign clear ownership of AR duties and cross-train team members to ensure continuation of coverage when a primary employee is out of the office.
• Partner with AR Manager, Accounting Managers, station personnel, and credit & collections to escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner for all stations represented by the department.
• Monitor reconciliation of AR on a daily, weekly & monthly basis, including data analysis for accuracy of payments, adjustments, transfers, and billing.
• Train and empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform all duties of an AR Representative for a group of stations as a member of the team.
• Contribute to the growth of the company through a successful team.
• Provide excellent customer service.
