With a curated roster of Creative Directors, our talented advertising, design, creative technology, immersive and visual effects teams produce captivating content across multiple platforms for global clients.

This includes creating visually striking content from crafting unforgettable theme park attractions, partnering with global brands through our advertising and Design teams, creating stunning VFX for episodic work, and executing pioneering captivating experiences.
Our London Advertising, Episodic and Immersive team is looking for an Assistant Technical Director to join us. This role is currently only open to those in the UK or with right to work in the UK.

The Assistant Technical Director (ATD) will be joining us to work across multiple shows so this is a great role to contribute to department tools and workflows.

This is a great opportunity for development and progression within the VFX world with multiple career paths opened up to you later in your career here based on the skills you learn in this role.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with the CG Supervisor on your show, the wider artist teams and our amazing Pipeline team.

Responsibilities:
• Developing scripts and solutions to project-related creative and technical challenges
• Supporting or troubleshooting the pipeline and workflow tools
• Providing in-person technical assistance to people in creative departments such as Animation
• Managing data on a large networked file system
• A background in Computer Science, Digital Art or a similar related field
• Working knowledge of Maya, Houdini and Nuke
• Previous experience of Python and shell scripting
• Previous experience in visual effects, CG animation or video game production
• Strong problem solving skills
• The desire to collaborate with artists, supervisors, pipeline teams
• Knowledge of Linux

Desirable Skills:​
• Shotgun API
• Experience of Houdini OTL authoring a plus
• Experience in unreal/real time engines is useful but not essential
• VEX and MEL knowledge is a plus
• Experience with a variety of commercial graphics applications
