FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the US These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
KSAZ FOX 10 / FOX Local / FOX10Phoenix.com, the Fox Owned and Operated duopoly in Phoenix AZ (DMA #11) is in search of a Sr. Promotions Producer. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can multi-task, conceptualize, write, direct, produce and edit dynamic creative on all platforms, that promote our programming and reinforces the station's brand and image. The candidate must be able to work effectively within specific time constraints and meet tight deadlines. You must be able to collaborate and effectively work with news producers, management, clients and talent to schedule shoots and get pertinent information to execute promotion.
You will be responsible for planning, producing, editing, and optimizing digital shows and creative for our FOX Local app, website, YouTube, TikTok, and other social media platforms. And also play a significant role in the Station's digital audience engagement campaign creation for brand, show, and talent image marketing. You are tech-savvy, stay up to date with digital trends and know how they can enhance our TV station's digital content and marketing strategy.
You will also be working closely with our sales team, advertising clients and media partners to create local ads and promo sponsorships including community initiatives. You must be personable and work with talent, management, sales clients, and other production staff to pitch ideas, share creative and conduct shoots in an organized, timely and professional manner.
Duties include but are not limited to project development, script writing, storyboarding, producing, directing and editing show or news-story topical promotions, sales spots, digital content and station image campaigns. The ideal candidate must have strong writing and communication skills. You must be a self-starter and team player. You have a creative ability to develop compelling campaigns that break through the noise and effectively translate across all mediums including broadcast, streaming, digital and print. You will learn every facet of our creative department, so you can fill in for your co-workers when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Generate creative ideas and create innovative branded news promos, marketing materials, artwork, commercials, shows and content for station broadcast, digital, streaming, and social platforms.
• Responsible for exceptional video production, including writing, directing, videography and editing with a working knowledge of motion graphic design.
• Be a leading contributor to station-produced programming needs, sales promotion, social media and branding.
• Collaborate with management, graphic artist and other staffers to elevate marketing messaging with an emphasis on visual storytelling and branding.
• Regularly interact with news, sales and other community partners using your technical and creative expertise to successfully deliver the desired product.
• Understand and incorporate current production and video trends and techniques in broadcast, streaming and digital/social platforms.
• Collaborate with department producers, videographers, and graphic designers to create polished and professional looking work.
• Must be able to handle ever-changing news, promotion and sales environment. Plus, focus on daily tasks while always keeping an eye on future projects.

Qualifications
• Collaborative, Positive, Personable, Energetic and Creative.
• Demonstrated aptitude for strong and engaging short & long form storytelling across a variety of mediums, especially digital.
• Strong news judgement and knowledge of current events.
• Excellent writing and copy-editing skills.
• Shooting and directing experience is a plus.
• Must have at least 5 years' experience in creative marketing, broadcast, advertising, cable, streaming entertainment, or similarly related field.
• Knowledge of digital trends and video content-creation best practices for social media, OTT and CTV.
• Ability to manage your time and prioritize efforts in a fast-paced environment with flexibility on hours and projects.
• Can accept constructive feedback.
• Strong attention to detail, facts and journalistic integrity.
• Ability to smoothly transition between job assignments and projects and juggle multiple tasks.
• Act as a steward and advocate for the overall FOX 10 & FOX10 Xtra brand across all platforms and at public events.
• Desire to take creative risks, learn and grow creatively.
• Firm understanding of advanced video production skills including videography, audio, lighting, and other professional production techniques.
• Work varied hours, some holidays, possible weekends and during severe weather situations as needed and/or scheduled
