Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

ARTIST/ANIMATOR (Full Time Regular): Experienced 2D/3D broadcast designer needed for in-house unit to fulfill graphic demands for FOX owned-and-operated TV Stations. Qualified applicant will conceptualize, design and create graphics and animations for news, promotion, social media/web, sports, weather, sales and programming as assigned.

Candidate must have 2 to 3 years experience as a 2D and 3D designer/animator. Should be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud suite with emphasis on After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator; 3D software, preferably Maxon Cinema 4D.

Experience/knowledge of Chyron platform and/or Unreal Engine AR/VR a big plus. Must have strong design skills and judgment and be able to generate a project from concept to completion and/or work in concert with others. Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as the ability to successfully work in a team environment with a positive attitude and professional work ethic. Should be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and to prioritize under tight deadlines. Expected to be flexible and able to work all hours and shifts as well as being punctual respective to assigned scheduling. A degree in Design is preferred, although range and scope of reel/portfolio or work experience may equate.
