JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is currently looking for a Transmission Operations Scheduler to support the Management Team with requirements across multiple platforms, including FOX Network, FOX Sports 1 & 2, FOX Deportes & FOX Soccer Plus live events. As Transmission Operations Scheduler, you will be responsible for booking day-of-air requests in support of the FOX Sports 1 Desk as well as processing the Playbook Satellite Grid each day. You will also input ICM Highlight Deportes record requests. Additionally, you will ensure all Playbook Game Plans include the technical specifications to execute the game, 3rd party vendor confirmations, and operational routing details as well as learn the Playbook Scheduling system and technical requirements needed for those requests.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process daily Playbook SAT Sheet and Day-of-Air requirements for FOX Los Angeles and FOX Tempe execution as it applies with critical review of all technical facility allocation
• Input Highlight feeds and ICM Record requests for FOX Deportes production support per weekly grid request
• Review and double check next day Playbook log services for conflict and double-booking prevention
• Ensure that all requests for the next day are confirmed for the respective clients
• Learn to process Weekly Programming Grids
• Attend weekly team meetings as assigned and assist with weekly Sports Packet Routing Grid input
• Execute all other assigned tasks per the Management Team's direction

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 2+ years of related experience working in TV broadcast or Cable environment
• Strong customer service and excellent organizational skills
• Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
• Ability to understand vendor rate cards and time zone conversions
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook)
• Superior reasoning skills
• Capacity to work in a deadline driven environment
• Ability work shifts including weekends and holidays

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Spanish language skills
• Prior knowledge of trafficking software and knowledge of satellite and fiber transmission

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $25.97-34.86 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
