JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox Sports is looking for a Freelance Producer/Editor to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Freelance Producer/Editor, you will use your expertise in video production, editing, and editorial experience to deliver a daily 3-hour show. You should have experience building rundowns and timing out shows, editing and distributing video content, as well as tremendous communication skills - as the nature of this project is collaborative. You will serve as the 'last line of defense' on all audio/video requirements – ensuring all technical spec requirements are met. Additionally, you are up to date on sporting news and can work shifts on weekends when sporting events take place.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Story/content sourcing and development: this includes building rundowns, timing shows/ blocks, and communicating across departments (FOX Sports Digital, FS1 Digital, Original talent Production Team) to highlight the best of FOX Sports on a daily basis
• Video post-production in Wildmoka, Quantel, Adobe Premiere - including working with graphic and motion graphic templates
• Backend distribution execution – formatting to required specs, writing metadata and delivering to MediaCloud for Tubi, and overseeing the final deliverables with edit support staff
• Manage freelance editors (including scheduling) with direct oversight of duties – in both the production and editorial space

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Video Editing (Wildmoka, PREMIERE, QUANTEL)
• Strong written and grammatical skills
• Strong leadership/communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadline
• Experience using iNews or ENPS, Mac, PC, MS Office, Quantel, Photoshop, Wildmoka, Dalet, Zoom, and Quip
• Experience in remote edit clients
