JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is looking for a Gambling Editor to join the Digital Team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Gambling Editor, you will help lead FOX Sports' efforts around gambling content by writing SEO-rich stories focusing on the best bets and how to make them for the biggest events on the sports calendar, from NFL games to March Madness and everything in between.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Write and edit SEO-rich stories focusing on the best bets and how to make them for the biggest sporting events
• Assist with managing FOX Sports Gambling's editorial calendar/content budget, planning for upcoming events, major milestones and content themes
• Collaborate with FOX Sports gambling talent to incorporate their perspectives and picks into written stories
• Demonstrate an expertise on how fans approach sports betting and what types of content resonate with different audiences
• Content ideation, creation, and editing

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Outstanding news judgment, skilled storytelling ability, thorough knowledge of digital best practices (including SEO, social platforms and content sharing), and a strong knowledge of journalistic principals and methods
• Deep knowledge of the AP style writing

• Adobe proficiency
