Associate - Media Management

JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Sports is looking for a Media Associate to join our Media Management team in Los Angeles, CA. As our Media Associate, you will play an integral role in helping to create and implement processes for managing media at Fox Sports.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure files are organized and tagged with proper metadata, as well as develop efficiencies for this process while ensuring proper workflows
• Monitor storage, approve restores, manage retention and migration policies and system clean-up
• Spearhead weekly melt and ENG footage ingest into our MAM
• Coordinate footage sharing and file transfers, external hard drive tracking, programming QC and traveling to remote events to manage media on-site as needed
• Work closely with engineering, post-production, and production in developing file transfers and media management workflows for jewel events (Super Bowl, World Cup, etc.)
• Research and implement new technologies and MAMs

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 1-2 years digital media experience
• Knowledge and experience of Live and Post Production workflows and tools, including but not limited to, Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Transcoders (ex. Vantage and Elemental) as well as MAM systems, scheduling interfaces and production systems like EVS and GrassValley (Quantel)
• Experience with MS Word/Excel/Outlook
• Outstanding business communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, whenever sports is on the air

• A Bachelor's degree is awesome but not required
