JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports Digital is looking for an Associate Manager of Production Operations to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Associate Manager of Production Operations, you will assist in maintaining all production equipment utilized by the Fox Sports Digital Team for in studio as well as remote shoots. You will be proficient in on-set operations including organizing logistics, procuring rental equipment, venues, vehicles, etc. and the hiring of freelance personnel such as camera operators, sound engineers and production support staff. You also will be asked to operate cameras for a variety of Fox Sports Digital content. The Associate Manager of Production Operations will work with producers and the production staff to improve workflows and quality of each piece of content that the Originals Team produces, with an emphasis on all Gambling Content produced by the team.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting in the maintaining, purchasing, renting, and organizing all production equipment for the various shoots
• Lead setup, strike and organization for in studio and remote productions
• Collaborate with the Assoc. Manager of Operations to create standard operating procedures for productions in studio and remote
• Develop new tools to improve efficiency and quality of the content
• Work in partnership with Technical Operations team to develop new and improved workflows for scheduling, staffing, equipment rental and expanding a freelance roster of camera operators, engineers, audio engineers, and other critical crew positions
• Teach camera operation and equipment workflows to junior staff members or staff that is not as well versed
• Assist with maintaining equipment and liaise with appropriate vendors
• Live On-set coordination of talent, crew, and producers

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 1+ years + PA/Production Coordinating Experience working with 15+ person crews
• Strong expertise with production equipment including Sony Cameras, various LED Lighting, Camera support, audio, communication systems
• Strong understanding of production timetables, crew positions, and general equipment knowledge
• Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and scheduling/budgeting software
• Outstanding Communication Skills
