JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News Media is looking for a Senior Project Coordinator, Scenic Production Design to provide project administration, design development and support for all aspects of scenic production project-based activities and studio set / scenic design projects. The Senior Project Coordinator, Scenic Production Design will report to the Senior Vice President of Broadcast & Media Technology. We are seeking a talented professional with strong project coordination skills and a background in Scenic Design or Interior / Architectural Design. The Senior Project Coordinator, Scenic Production Design will need to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all departments at FOX and engage with outside vendors, contractors, and consultants. The ideal candidate will be a creative, highly organized, solutions-oriented individual who is able to multi-task and think outside the box. Increasing level of responsibilities with demonstrated ability. Occasional business travel as projects warrant.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Project Coordination to maintain and facilitate scenic production projects across 17 Studios based in NY, DC, Los Angeles, and London
• Prepare scope of work and creative design execution of project schedules
• Coordinate with scenic design firms, scenic fabrication contractors and technology vendors
• Project planning, assist budgeting and preparation of scenic design scope of work proposals, design presentations, concept development pitches and bid leveling
• Execute all capital purchase requests, purchase orders, tracking of invoices and project change orders
• Research, plan, conduct design draft reviews and prioritize project activities
• Project coordination – maintain list of tasks and milestones across multiple projects
• Responsible for project planning meetings / bookings to assure they run well and in a timely manner
• Liaison to Project Managers and key stakeholders to maintain project coordination timelines and schedules
• Help facilitate special events related to scenic production at remote venues

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Scenic Production Design or Architectural / Interior Design background
• 2-3 year of project coordination experience
• Intermediate to advanced skills using Project Management platform tools ( Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Excel )

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of Broadcast Studios or Studio Construction / Scenic Fabrication
• Knowledge of platform tools like Slack, BOX, JIRA, AutoCAD, and Confluence
