JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News is looking for a Payroll Manager to join our New York Bureau. As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of on-cycle payroll and maintaining the integrity of the payroll data.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee in house on-cycle payroll preparation and production
• Manage end-to-end processing and ensure the accuracy and timely processing of all payroll actions
• Balance and control earnings/deduction totals, identify and correct out of balance conditions, and review automated system output
• Serve as the point contact for assisting in regulatory/governmental correspondence
• Take corrective action to achieve compliance and accuracy
• Participate in data collection activity in support of Audit Requests (internal/external)
• Gather and analyze data as requested by management
• Coordinate with HR to verify employee data and accounts
• Ensure the organization's compliance with payroll tax withholding responsibilities, payments, tax returns, and W-2 reporting
• Direct quarterly and annual tax filing process with ADP
• Registration of new payroll tax authorities
• Assist the Director in off-cycle payroll actions, systems maintenance, tax updates, system UAT, quarterly/year-end tasks, and other assignments as requested

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• BA/BS Degree
• 7+ years of Payroll processing
• 2+ years Experience with Workday Payroll/Time & Attendance
• 2+ years Experience with ADP Tax
• Strong knowledge of Payroll best practices, Garnishments, and Payroll Taxes
• Working knowledge of FLSA regulations
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
• Must be precise with attention to detail
• Strong mathematical acumen and analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Successful completion of a system implementation preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
