The FOX Corporation Enterprise Technology team is seeking a Director, Security Operations to be a hands-on technical leader in application, data, and infrastructure security initiatives in our evolution to a dynamic and on-demand organization. If you have a passion for diving deep into how applications, networks, and services work and identify the best mechanisms to protect our mission-critical infrastructure and systems, but have an interest in discovering unique and emerging threats, this role will provide you with many challenges and opportunities. You will manage a team that closely collaborates with our Information Security organization to drive security assessments, audits, remediation, risk analysis, vulnerability testing, security review, and design on many elements of FOX Enterprise Technology systems and infrastructure platforms. This hands-on technical security leader will be a part of the FOX Enterprise Technology organization. A high-impact, high-performing team with responsibilities that include all business units across the company.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate closely with the Information Security team to deliver the vision and implementation of security issue detection, alerting, and response across on-premise and in the cloud
• Serve as a conduit between Enterprise Technology and Information Security on all matters related to security across the organization
• Architect and work with your team to deliver solutions that enable engineering teams to build, deploy and operate securely in both legacy and emerging spaces
• Drive the automation and integration of security into the core of day-to-day operations through Infrastructure-as-Code and peer-review/code-review mechanisms
• Partner with teams who implement technology and achieve methods for aligning security practices into their processes and then continuously measure and reduce vulnerabilities
• Own incident response, mitigation, and post-event analysis
• Contribute to the design and delivery of compute, storage, network, and content movement capabilities as a cohesive distributed system
• Be responsible for managing the efficacy of tools, data, and systems; developing and implementing strategies to improve or widen the scope existing or identifying new tools and systems to close gaps
• Mentor, educate, and develop others to become technical contributors and leaders

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Hands-on experience in hands-on security engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure telemetry, logging, and event correlation (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus)
• Hands-on experience with Cloud applications such as Slack, BOX, Quip, etc.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Next Gen firewalls and wireless technologies
• Experience as an information security manager, lead, or equivalent
• Experience in risk analysis, identification, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing
• Experience with SMTP/TLS and E-mail filtering cloud-based systems
• Experience with securing Cloud-Based technologies
• Hands-on knowledge of core networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and identity management systems
• Working knowledge of Network and/or Security Technologies (NAC, Honeypots, Routers, VPN, Switches, Tanium, Crowdstrike, etc.)
• Familiarity with security industry standards (ISO, NIST, etc.), best practices, and knowledge of security auditing
• One or more of the following professional certifications: CISA, CISM, CEH, CISSP, or SANS
• Have been a contributor to network and systems design discussions, reviews, and implementations and are comfortable challenging others to implement improvements
• Ability to lead through influence and work in a team environment
• Able to work in high-pressure environments, supporting critical on-air broadcast systems
• Self-directing and focused on delivering measurable and meaningful results
• Have a passion for the media and entertainment industry

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is desirable
