JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Commercial Administrator for the Big Ten Network! In this role, the Commercial Administrator will work closely with programming teams to schedule inquiries and formats for specific live events. The Commercial Administrator will coordinate with Sales, Programming, and agencies for issues with missing commercial instructions, tapes, or filler elements. Organizational skills and attention to detail are key components to meeting daily copy deadlines.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare daily program/commercial logs for air
• Interface with Sales Coordination, Sales, Programming, On-air Promo, and Operations to ensure logs are completed and ready for air
• Ensure accuracy of logs to reflect the most recent program schedules in the correct formats
• Run appropriate checks in the system and verify with Sales Admin that any issues are covered on the log variance report
• Adjust log formats as necessary to ensure correct log timing
• Reconcile logs for advertiser billing
• Work with Sales or Live Operation teams to troubleshoot any post-log inquiries
• Ensure that commercials air in accordance with agency instruction
• Verify tickers, graphics, or other added-value placements as needed
• Work closely with programming teams to schedule inquiries and formats for specific live events
• Schedule contingency and alternate logs as directed by Programming and copy inventory as directed by Pricing & Planning
• Assist with other Commercial Administration duties as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Exceptional organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate precise information clearly and accurately
• Basic mathematical and timing calculator skills
• Experience with Windows-based software and database programs, especially Excel
• Ability to exercise sound judgments within parameters as trained
• Ability to keep track of multiple requirements and know when to escalate an issue
• Ability to spot discrepancies and problem-solve using reports and other tools
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment while remaining professional
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple responsibilities
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Prior Commercial Administration/Agency/Traffic experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $24.25-28.00 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
