Job Summary/Description:

FOX5 is looking for a passionate storyteller to spotlight FOX5's news coverage, sports, weather, and community involvement. Must have a flair for shooting and editing attention-grabbing and heartwarming promos and short-form content.

The job includes pitching creative stories, writing attention-grabbing copy, and shooting and editing compelling promos and short-form videos - these include Surprise Squad stories and other sponsored content. Participation in station-sponsored events. Serious candidates must include a demo reel.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• ️ Excellent video editing skills. Strong shooting and lighting skills. Short-form and long-form storytelling experience. Ability to develop and pitch marketing campaign ideas. Strong broadcast and AP-style writing skills. Quick learner who can adapt to a breaking news-driven environment.
