Junior Presentation Designer
Location: Chicago or Detroit area

Job Summary: As a Junior Designer on our team, you will be responsible for supporting our account teams by conceptualizing, designing, and developing graphics, illustrations, and decks for new business and client presentations. You will become extremely knowledgeable of FINN brand standards, clients, and the work we do for them. Success in this role is defined and measured by projects being worked on with a meticulous eye for detail and showing a willingness to grow and develop.

Responsibilities
• Creating high-quality, innovative, and on-brand design solutions that exceed the client/team briefs, and which are delivered within the required deadline
• Creating presentations following our brand guidelines for any FINN team member to use when attending client pitches and meetings
• Working with the Account and Creative teams to interpret the client's brief and ensure that content and design work well together and meet the client's needs
• Producing and supplying final files – print-ready PDFs, packaged artwork, assets, specifications, or other requirements
• Preparing, editing, and amending design assets and photography
• Producing specification documents to ensure the proper implementation of our designs
• Showcase familiarity and understanding of our key clients' branding and design guidelines to help us deliver what the client wants
• Keeping Midwest team headshots current and taking/editing shots for new team members
• Working on existing client projects and thinking strategically about their requirements, taking into consideration their brand, their costs, the objectives of the project, and any compliance or IT constraints
• Great eye for selecting assets (icons, illustrations, photography) to complement design solutions

Qualifications
• A natural understanding of the difference between ''making something look good'' and ''making something work
• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects at any one time and be able to demonstrate evidence of managing web and digital projects to successful completion
• Great attention to detail, self-motivated, and highly organized
• Equally happy working with other designers, writers, and strategists, or motivated to work on your own
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and under pressure
• A positive attitude and the desire to solve difficult problems
• Driven, ambitious, and keen to grow within the company
• Tenacity and a strong desire to make a difference, always with the customer in mind
• Pixel perfect eye for detail.

Requirements
• Portfolio of design work (examples of proposal work, a plus.)
• 1-3 years working as a Designer
• Advanced knowledge and skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, as well as the Microsoft Office & especially, the Google Suite (PPT & Slides). Proficiency with Google Slides is mandatory.
• Site design and social media experience preferred.
• Must have a demonstrated commitment to quality, meticulous attention to detail, and consistency in work product.
• Strong layout and design abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage a project within a team environment
• Ability to be self-motivated and organized
