Account Coordinator (Entry Level)

We're looking for a recent graduate to join our Midwest team as an Account Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent position at FINN Partners. Candidates for this position should have six months+ of relevant internship experience. Agency experience is a plus. If you do not have prior internship experience, please consider applying for our Excelerator program.
Job Summary: As an Account Coordinator on our team, you will be responsible for supporting multiple client accounts, handling building and maintaining media lists, establishing media relationships, influencer engagement, conducting industry research, and drafting media materials. We're looking for candidates who demonstrate strong communication and time management skills and showcase an ability to consistently manage deadlines.

Responsibilities
• Compile comprehensive, targeted media lists, work with team members to pitch media, and secure traditional and social media placements
• Monitor, track, and report traditional and social media outlets for coverage of client news and competitor developments
• Identify trade reporters, business reporters, and influencers relevant to the client
• Proactively consume traditional and social media outlets that are relevant to client business
• Write, proof, and edit client-related documents based on outline or direction from supervisor; may include pitches, press materials, and meeting reports
• Prepare initial draft of client updates, as needed and requested; deliver error-free written communication
• Research industry or program-relevant topics efficiently
• Stay informed on the latest trends in digital and social media communications
Qualifications
• At least six months of internship experience in public relations or related marketing communications field preferred
• Understanding of public relations, social media, and marketing communications
• Creative writer with solid understanding and proficiency in multiple writing styles, including business communications and AP style
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple deliverables against deadlines
• Proactive and collaborative, able to operate effectively independently and with a team
• Desire and eagerness to learn and grow
