Contract type : Full time position, 80% working and 20% studying. Plus, s ome weekends on site across the festival season. 2 year placement .

Application Criteria and Training Information
• This is an opportunity specifically for candidates who currently reside in the London Borough s
of Bromley , Southwark, Lewisham, Lambeth and Croydon .
• To be eligible for this fantastic opportunity you will need to have a minimum grade 9 – 4 GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).   
• Candidates who have completed a related degree will not be eligible to apply.
• The successful candidate will participate in workplace activities over the duration of the apprenticeship and will be assessed at regular intervals by an external assessor to ensure the qualification is achieved. 
• A n excellent command of grammar and spelling (for proof-reading) .
• Good knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their audience (Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Twitter, TikTok etc.) and how they can be used .

Role Description

Festival Republic operates Reading and Leeds, Wireless, Latitude, Download, Wilderness, The Great Escape, Community, Electric Picnic as well as a number of additional outdoor shows throughout summer.

Festival Republic, part of Live Nation Entertainment runs an apprenticeship programme which aims to offer an alternative route for people into employment. The apprenticeship offers on the job training and onsite assessment by an approved apprenticeship training provider, earning a nationally recognised qualification at the end of the apprenticeship. 

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join the Digital Marketing team for a 2 year placement. As an Apprentice you will work alongside the team during campaigns across all of Festival Republic's events and festivals. 

You will be specifically working as part of the Marketing and Digital Departments during the campaigns across all of Festival Republic's events.  You will assist the online content team to produce, research and edit content produced across multiple social platforms, newsletters and websites.

What the role includes
• Website: Negotiate a variety of content management systems and social platforms .
• Social: Assist in the creation of social media content, liaising with the Digital Department and Digital Agencies we work with, to initiate, activate and motivate new online communities via a range of platforms .
• Content: Assist in providing content for the festival websites and newsletters before, during and after events. Proofread copy before it gets published .
• Trends: Identify and communicate trends through social media e.g. global events .

While this is a great opportunity to gain experience in an exciting industry, please be aware you will be office based for the majority of the apprenticeship. You will potentially also have the exciting opportunity to work onsite at our festivals.
