Responsibilities
Site Support Engineers at Fandango work with all major theater operators and support exhibitor requests and internal operation requests for technical operations. Fandango ticketing covers various platforms and multiple properties with access to thousands of theaters across the United States featuring 2D, 3D, IMAX, dine-in, Dolby, THX and more. We have the best mobile app and a fantastic application system supporting theaters and provide the best and the most convenient movie ticketing experience. Site Support Engineers ensure ticketing availability, functionalities, and associated amenities are properly pervade through the system for all exhibitors. This also extend to the Fandango family of properties including Rotten Tomatoes, MovieTickets.com, Flixster, and other partners. Primary responsibilities generally include but not limited to-
• Facilitate showtime propagations upon requests
• Run troubleshooting on API calls between our system and external point of sales
• Help theaters control showtime inventory status
• Troubleshoot technical sale issues such as application configurations, network communications, and server status
• Coordinating with other teams, promoters, and or exhibitors to produce proper digital contents for movies and theatrical events
• Monitor, diagnose, and escalate to internal teams, theaters, or point of sales regarding system health, error conditions, and provide status update on incidents
• Provide feedback and contribute to improve application functionalities and performance
• Handle all communications in a prompt and courteous manner
• Play parts in movie premier events and presales activities
• Must be able to work in flexible hours. Work shift rotates and will cover weekends, holidays, and overnight
• Track work and requests via internal work ticketing system with discipline

Qualifications/Requirements
• 2-3 years of System Administration, software application testing, development, or similar work
• Solid understanding of web applications-- API calls, services, server/client, cache
• Solid understanding of networking, firewall, and VPN
• Solid understanding of information security and privacy
• Solid understanding of monitoring terms

Desired Characteristics
• Must be able to interpret two axis charts
• Prior experience in using monitoring tools
• Prior experience in operating complex software suite
