Job Description
Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Accounting Shared Services, in a position that will play a key role in assisting in the establishment of a Shared Service function. This role will focus on the management of a Global Accounts Payable function. The ideal candidate will create change and instill confidence in the newly created AP function . The key responsibility for the role is an managing the end to end AP Function, fostering change management and ensuring the Film and Television Shared Service exceeds the needs of stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
• Facilitate process change management gain buy in from stakeholders and execute newly created AP Function
• Reinforce and deliver new processes and systems to set up vendors, facilitate purchase orders and process payments
• Manage PO and vendor payment processing
• Manage employee expenses
• Manage all month end AP processes
• Manage vendor relationships
• Manage Intercompany Settlements
• Partner with Treasury to facilitate vendor payment runs
• Specialize in SOX controls
• Identify and manage workflow problems within the department
• Track, report and present performance of AP function
• Manage audit requests relating to AP
• Continuously strive to make improvements in existing process and models
• Review trends and analyze large sources of data

Qualifications and Experience:
• At least 5 years Accounts Payable Manager/Supervisor experience in a fast paced, deadline-oriented business environment
• Experience using Dynamics 365 a plus
• Persuasive communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Strong MS Excel and modeling skills are an absolute must. The ability to use formulas, macros, pivot tables and other advanced Excel features is required
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and attention to detail in all areas of work are crucial
• Knowledge of accepted accounting rules and practices and internal controls is required
• Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team and independently
• Strong work ethic and flexibility to work overtime when required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to think outside the box
