Job Description

Position Summary:

Across the Entertainment One content slate including Scripted, Unscripted, Film and Television, the Senior Analyst, Development will administer the day-to-day development spend and accounting function. They will work cross-functionally with the Studio divisions including Business and Legal Affairs, Physical Production, Corporate Finance, Production Finance, Creative, and Treasury.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the day-to-day accounting for Film & TVs development slate
• Coordinate with BLA and Physical Production teams to set up writer rooms and onboard talent
• Process weekly payroll for Film & TV's development slate and track in smart accounting
• Set up vendors, purchase orders, pay and track invoices in Smart Accounting
• Review development general ledgers
• Reconcile CASHet cards
• Prepare development cost reports and summaries for studio management
• Administer First Look Deal payments and provide spend analysis
• Provide financial support to team members as needed
• Assist in month end close reporting
• Assist with various internal and external financial and guild audit requests
• Research payroll and Accounts Payable issues

Qualifications:
• 3-5+ years Production Accounting experience
• Entertainment industry production accounting software experience required including Smart Accounting, Smart Time, Smart Start Vista, Scenechronize.
• Understanding of SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA, and IATSE union contracts
• Production accounting background/experience along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret contracts
• Ability to research and report on relevant data
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Detail oriented
• Able to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks
