Key properties in the brand portfolio include international pre-school TV phenomenon Peppa Pig; superhero hit PJ Masks; newly launched pre-school series Ricky Zoom; fashion brands My Little Pony, Equestria Girls and Jem; as well as action adventure brands Transformers and Power Rangers.
The Creative Services team within the Family Brands Division at Entertainment One, is looking for a Creative Manager to oversee the production of all creative produced for one of our-pre school brands. You will have strong experience within the entertainment industry and can demonstrate proven experience of implementing the brand creative direction across all brand and marketing need material that we as a team produce.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all projects that are delivered to support one of our pre-school brands working with internal designers and external vendors to produce work of the highest quality. Offering strong art direction on the work they produce, which will helping to drive through the creative within each project, ensuring it meets the need of each brief but stay true to the values of the brand.
You will be an excellent communicator, who can give clear and concise feedback to the designers and vendors, and partnering with key stakeholders within the business to ensure they have visibility at key moments in the schedule. We're looking for a proactive, driven and problem-solving attitude, and someone who will thrive on collaborating with different teams within the business, using their passion for design at all times.

In this role, your accountability and responsibilities are…
• Responsible for delivering all assets, toolkits and guides that we as a team deliver against one of our pre-school properties.
• Ensure the creative direction is implemented within all the creative we produce, that ties in with both the core DNA of the brand and the brand strategy.
• Partner with the global brand team, to get their input, feedback and overall approval on all assets that are created.
• Along with the Creative Director, partner with the production team to be across all assets in development for the brand(s).
• Have in depth knowledge of the pre-school brand they will be managing the creative. From what's coming through from production through to how the assets are being used across product, marketing, packaging and more.
• Ensure the Creative Director for Pre-School, is kept up to date on the status of all assets, and get their feedback on the creative when required as well as their final approval.
• Partner with the Consumer Products and Toy creative teams, to ensure they have visibility of the creative we are producing, giving them the opportunity as a key stakeholder for input.
• Responsible for the delivery of all character art created, from writing the brief through to ensuring the colour palette is accurate and all files are QC'd
• Manage the process of delivering all assets that go within the Asset Toolkits, ensuring that key partners are kept up to date in any changes to the schedule.
• Be across the competitor landscape to ensure the brand creative, has an extremely strong presence within the entertainment industry.
• Working with both the internal team and external resource, to oversee the delivery of all brand assets, identifying what resource we need and art directing the work that gets created by this external resource.
• Oversee the creation of all seasonal marketing material, with a strong awareness of how the regional marketing teams will utilise the brand across campaigns throughout the year.
• Have a strong understanding of the entertainment marketing teams, regional campaigns and partnerships, to ensure assets are created to support their needs.
• Have a good knowledge of the commercial landscape, understanding how creative assets for the brand(s) will be used across different product and marketing material.
• Line manage designers within the team, offering creative direction and additional managerial support when needed. Ensuring they have clear objectives, tied in with the teams' objectives, which supports the needs of the business.
• Working with the Director to develop strong concepts and mood boards, setting the direction of each brief.
• Partner with suitable external agencies where required, offering clear and concise creative direction.
• Have good depth knowledge of all episodic content and be abreast of new content in the pipeline.
• Collaborate with the video editors and animators in the team to ensure they have the assets needed for the video content they create.
• Be the first point of contact for all creative asset knowledge for the brand.
• Be a creative brand champion, with thorough comprehensive knowledge of the brand, understanding how the entertainment content can best be translated across all touch points.
To do this role, you will have…
• Strong proven experience within the pre-school entertainment industry.
• Good technical design skills across the Adobe full CC suite.
• Proven experience giving art direction to either in-house team or to external vendors
• Strong project management experience, from briefing through to scheduling, managing the feedback from key stakeholders at all stages of the process.
• Previous line management experience, with responsibility for the creative produced by each of the people that report into you.
• Ability to visualise your ideas as part of the briefing process, capturing the requirements, through mood boards, sketches or initial concepts, that 'sell' your vision to the designer(s) working on the project.
• Strong knowledge of the print and digital processes and understanding how concepts, will look both offline and online.
• Passion for the children's entertainment industry, with a full understanding of how creative assets will be used across all touch points where the brand has visibility.
• Great organisational qualities, with the ability to multi-task and react to the high volume and demands of the role.
• Good presentation skills, that help 'sell' the creative that's produced by you and the team.
• Can demonstrate examples, where you have successfully managed creative and design projects that have performed well within the competitor space

• By ensuring the creative direction for the portfolio and properties within the portfolio, are successfully translates across a variety of touchpoints
• If all projects are tracked, key stakeholders are kept informed, and the work continues to hit the requirements against the brief
• Create engaging campaign material, for both consumers and trade, that gives a fresh approach to the brand each season.
• If all output is of the highest standard and meets all the necessary technical requirements.
• Help the creative team serve 'excellence' in producing both efficient and creative output
