Job Description

Entercom's 106.3 WORD/WYRD-FM, in Greenville, SC, has an immediate opening for a Morning Show Audio Producer. and Board Operator for the highly-rated Tara Show (M-F 6A-10A). We're looking for a creative, attentive, out-of-the-box thinker with a good ear who knows what it takes to succeed in a fast-paced work environment. The successful applicant will be a positive team player who takes the initiative to ensure flawless execution in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Produce a daily live 4-hour talk radio morning show.

Experience writing news and delivering recorded and live broadcast content required.

Run the control board flawlessly during the live show and execute all on-air transitions, music beds, and sound effects, ensuring all commercials play as scheduled.

Assist and direct the Host and News Anchors during live programming.

Assist with the management of show commercial copy and sponsorships.

Participate in the on-air show as directed by the Host.

Manage and update the show's Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Collaborate with the Host on show prep and a daily run sheet as needed.

Help provide creative feedback and input for the show.

Experience with audio announcing and recording using editing software like Cool Edit and Adobe Audition .

This position will also Host and produce and manage a weekly thirty-minute public affairs show.

Qualifications:

The position requires at least one year of radio experience, understanding of the digital landscape, and social media. Familiarity with Wide Orbit, digital production, and board operation is required.

A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
