WTIC-AM Talk Show Host (Hartford)

Connecticut's premiere NewsTalk radio station, WTIC-AM, is looking for a Talk Show Host. Candidates must be able to keep listeners entertained and up-to-date with conversation on general topics, issues, politics, local and national news. We are looking for a host that can intelligently communicate their opinion, can relate to the audience, knows how to use humor and wants listener's to participate in the show via calls.
• The target audience of the program is Men 25-54 who are educated, information seekers.
• This is a union position

Qualifications:
• Past radio experience preferred
• Be prepared to supply audio samples upon request
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.
