SVP, Information Technology

Job Description

The SVP, Information Technology, is a working, executive position focusing on the strategy, architecture, and operations of critical IT infrastructure and systems. This position will manage activities associated with the information technology systems in support of the company's business and oversees the company's IT team across multiple sites. The SVP is responsible for bridging the tactical and strategic objectives of the organization with the daily IT activities to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate performance level of IT services and capabilities.

The SVP, Information Technology, needs strong management, strategic, analytical, and technical skills across corporate and market operations. This role will help plan and execute the company's IT infrastructure, team, KPIs, and budget, including but not limited to: data networks, on premise and cloud based application platforms, enterprise systems and applications, and end-user support.

Responsibilities:

IT & Infrastructure Leadership
• Responsible for IT initiatives, systems, team, and budget for 24x7 operations at corporate and market level
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations including infrastructure costs, performance and end user satisfaction
• Oversight of all corporate data networks and key enterprise systems
• Ensure all IT systems and infrastructures in compliance with Security
• Provide outstanding IT and infrastructure systems and support for Entercom markets
• Develop an IT strategic road map that communicates and ensures continual alignment between IT, company and operational planning
• Understand business goals, drivers, context, and processes to suggest technology solutions that improve the organization Management of the IT teams and consultants
• Provide creative thinking, innovative perspective, and collaborative business acumen to all technology problems and innovations
• Participate and contribute to enterprise data strategy and other technical initiatives
• Lead IT teams for the successful fulfillment of IT services and company growth objectives
• Creates culture of accountability, innovative problem-solving, and collaboration
• Set goals and deliverables for all staff to leverage strengths and talents
• Set goals and deliverables for IT vendor partners and critical systems

Internal Stakeholder Management & Vendor Management
• Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand the company's strategic and operational imperatives and develops and delivers an IT strategy and operational plan to supports company needs and provides return on investment to justify proposed plans
• Formulation of IT policies, procedures and performance management processes and measures
• Foster and manage vendor partners to meet the needs of Entercom's business and growth objectives

Growth and Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze systems and infrastructure on regular basis to assess initiatives and align to company growth objectives
• Analyze current operation procedures on an ongoing basis against company objectives and determine areas for continuous improvement
• Create and foster project management discipline

Qualifications:
• 15+ years of proven success of increasing responsibility in an IT Leadership Role
• Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks and follow through to completion on strict deadlines
• The ability to operate in ambiguous situations and be flexible as the organization changes and grows
• A track record of successfully implementing IT strategies at an enterprise level, preferably in 24/7 operations, including the selection, implementation, operation and maintenance of large-scale systems over multiple hardware and software platforms
• Knowledge of leading IT best practices, procedures and policies pertaining to data access and enterprise systems
• Expertise with ITIL, COBIT, PCI, ISO and other IT industry standard frameworks implementation and execution
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze technical risks and provide solution alternatives to executive management
• Experience in IT Audit, Regulatory Compliance, or Information Technology Cloud-based platforms is a major plus
• Broadcast IT experience a plus
