Job Description

WILK Newsradio, Northeast PA's premiere NewsTalk radio station is looking for an energetic, newstalk fanatic to join our team as a full-time producer. Primary responsibilities will be working with our hosts, suggesting, researching and scheduling guests for the afternoon drive show and running the board during that show.

Responsibilities will also include:
• Running the board during syndicated shows or sports
• Producing segments
• Handling some of the specific show's website material and social media promotion
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Required:
A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
• Have a passion for Newstalk
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Be a team player
• Be a problem solver
• Work well under pressure and be able to multi task.
• Have prior experience in running a radio board and editing audio.
