Job Description

Cadence13 is looking for a Producer to producer, engineer and prep some of their podcasts in multiple categories across sports, news, business and lifestyle. The Associate Producer will be heavily involved in day to day, development and end-to-end production process and will work directly with programming leadership on audience engagement and creative growth and development of these shows. Must exercise strong multi-tasking skills, while managing multiple projects with high profile talent at various stages. Candidates must demonstrate experience producing podcasts.

Responsibilities:
• Work directly with host(s) and senior programming team to design overall sound and image of program(s), consistent with platform goals
• Strong understanding of the types of content that resonate best with different audiences, and the ability to integrate that content creatively
• Support regular show development by researching topics, talking points, writing scripts, and creating rundowns for hosts
• Actively lead and participate in creative brainstorm meetings
• Assist sales team to help create and integrate sponsorship elements into programs
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop creative properties and distribution strategies to effectively promote podcasts and grow audiences
• Leverage social media best practices to promote and distribute content
• Work with and coach talent and guests directly using strong talent development skills
• Solid audio production skills and knowledge of audio editing equipment, including running audio boards, mobile audio recorders, and recording software
• Wide range of knowledge and interests including, but not limited to: sports, news, business, entertainment and lifestyle
• Comfortable working with high profile talent, artists, and guests
• Consistent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to communicate multiple streams of information efficiently to the right parties
• Coordinate multiple schedules and projects that are constantly changing and evolving
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Be a creative and strategic thinker
• 3+ years prepping, engineering and mastering audio programming, preferably within the podcast space
• Proven track record to producing high quality multi-platform original content
• Proficient audio editing knowledge, preferably in a multi-track environment (protools, Adobe Audition, etc.)
• Knowledge of social media and best practices on various platforms
• Experience working in a creative digital content development setting
• Flexible schedule - must be available to work days, nights, and weekends as needed
• Ability to work with off-site (''remote'') talent – communicating mostly via email/phone
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Good written and verbal communications
