Position Summary/Objective:

The Tour Manager, PBR Velocity Tour and Challenger Series will be responsible for daily operations of the Tour; managing and assisting the implementation of marketing, sponsorship management, and production management strategies for 2 PBR event tours – Velocity and Challenger events in conjunction with PBR. This role will have significant impact in growing the profitability of the PBR Velocity and Challenger events by working closely with all PBR departments and personnel including the live event marketing teams, working in tandem with PR, social media, production and other revenue generating departments such as sponsorship, licensing, and ticketing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage comprehensive event plans for tour event markets.
• Oversee and assist on all aspects of brand development for the events.
• Establish and maintain key deadlines in line with the overall marketing, sponsorship, and production plans.
• Research and identify new and existing contacts and partnership opportunities to drive incremental revenue.
• Develop strong relationships with existing, new and potential sponsors to maximize marketability, activation, and usage of PBR intellectual rights.
• Assist SVP in forecasting revenue projections, performing risk analysis, and managing costs and budgets.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts for the Velocity and Challenger events.
• Work cross divisionally with internal teams (including Sales, Creative, Digital and Social Media, Public Relations, Special Events, TV, Travel, Premium Experience, Loyalty Marketing, Ticketing, Merchandise, and Finance/Accounting) to ensure maximization of internal resources for event marketing and promotional campaigns.
• Work with SVP and Finance/Accounting to help manage event budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
• Maintain and develop administrative tools to manage all events and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to SVP, PBR Core Events. Maintain Tour One Note books and meeting agendas.
• Responsible for consistent communications of PBR Velocity and Challenger event communication strategies both internally and externally. Includes overall One Note Book management and administration.
• At select events – position will be flexible to include market manager duties and tour operations for VT double-up events when applicable.
• PBR Sanctioning Committee representative.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Self-starter with intuitive marketing, sponsorship, administrative and event production skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, build relationships and influence credibly, effectively internally and externally.
• Strong creative, analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans and campaigns.
• Experience developing, managing budgets and forecasting skills.
• Proven administrative skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Appropriate decision-making, and problem solving judgement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority at one time.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suites (TEAMS, One Note, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).

Education & Formal Training:
• B.A. /B.S. from an accredited university in Sports Business/Marketing – preferred.

Experience:
• 2-4 years of brand management or live event marketing-sponsorship-production experience – preferred.

Working Conditions:
• Normal office hours Monday-Friday.
• Some extended hours, weekends, holidays and nights may be required.
• Travel up to 40% for events and meetings.
