Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: New Growth

Position Summary: Responsible for leading the early stage development for IMG Performance's new student-athlete development products, providing opportunities to all passionate student athletes -- on or off the IMG Academy campus in Bradenton.

Position Responsibilities
• Manage the end to end development of early stage products in the digital sports, training and education space
• Work closely with product managers, designers and subject matter experts to align product vision with customer needs in a search for product-market fit
• Build platforms from scratch, integrate with off-the-shelf solutions and/or partner platforms based on specific user needs
• Assist with creating and building culture of the New Growth team by modeling critical behaviors for new product development and customer-centric focus
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing and hiring of software engineering personnel for the new growth team
• Oversee and evolve software engineering best practices to ensure high standard of quality for all team deliverables
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Ability
• BA/BS in computer science or related field
• 4+ years' experience in full stack development of growing consumer products
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.JS, React.JS, etc.)
• Experience with mobile technologies (iOS/Swift or React Native)
• Experience with cloud-based computing/infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, Asana, etc.)
• Ability to think creatively
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills
• Experience in youth, collegiate or professional athletics

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
