Responsibilities

This role both helps to drive the studio's strategic initiatives, and also helps to execute on those strategic goals by co-managing related operational projects across the organization. This cross-functional role reports to the CFO and works in close partnership with departments including Animation Technology, Finance, Production Strategy, HR, Business/Legal Affairs as well as the strategy and technology teams at Universal Pictures.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities in special projects include, but are not limited to, producing and presenting decks and executive updates, developing project plans and budgets, and partnering with other departments to drive and manage initiatives to ensure they are successfully completed and implemented.
• Perform analysis related to production models, competitive benchmarking, organizational planning, and market growth.
• Carry out market research to support business development opportunities.
• Act as liaison to Universal Pictures strategy teams on broader studio projects involving DWA content.

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/requirements:
• DreamWorks is seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience in business development or strategic planning, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Strong interest in animation and family entertainment preferred
• BS/BA degree
• Knowledge of Excel modeling and PowerPoint

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
• Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including significant financial modeling experience
