Job Title
Visual Designer - II

Job Summary:
Apple News+ is a paid subscription, based within the Apple News app. Candidate will be responsible for designing and laying out feature articles for weekly, monthly, and other premium print publications. The candidate will work closely with other Designers, Animators, Developers and the QA team in order to produce a highly engaging experience for our paid subscribers.

Primary responsibilities:
• Design enhancements for feature articles for our Dotdash Meredith brands, within Apple News+
• Present designs, communicate and document visual enhancements for the Dev team to execute.
• Combine technology and imagination to showcase our premium content hosted in Apple News+

Required and Mandatory Skills:
• 3-5 Years design experience with an emphasis on layout, typography, color theory, and visual balance
• The ability to think creatively.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficient in Sketch, Photoshop, Indesign
• Designing for mobile and tablet devices
• Have a portfolio showcasing design abilities
• Be comfortable with feedback and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-development skills and a self-starter
• Storyboarding designs to pass off projects to Animators

Good to Have:
• Knowledge of or experience with After Effects

Designation: Visual Designer - II
Working Hours: 1 PM – 10 PM IST
Work Location: RMZ Eco World, Bengaluru
