People.com is seeking a full time Senior SEO/Growth Analyst, who will be working from Wednesday to Sunday, to support our newsroom. Your role involves conducting thorough keyword research for follow-ups, optimizing articles in collaboration with our editorial team, and meticulously tracking content performance against competitors. With 3-5 years in digital marketing and a profound understanding of SEO, Google News, and data visualization tools, you'll be pivotal in enhancing our online presence and audience engagement.
Please note that you will be working from Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. This is a full-time position and all candidates must be available to work East Coast hours.
About The Positions Contributions:
Conduct keyword research to identify relevant opportunities for weekend story follow ups or breakouts
Work with editorial teams to optimize stories, including title, meta, and article specific optimizations.
Track the performance of weekend content and make recommendations for improvement relative to competitors.
Track competitors to ID any new creates we have missed or should begin writing asap
The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Experience:
3-5 years in a digital marketing role with considerable exposure to SEO and editorial processes
Has experience working with entertainment news, and stays up to date on Hollywood celebrity and entertainment news
Experience working with editorial teams
Program management experience and ability to manage multiple projects
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on strategy development and execution
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Strong understanding of the latest strategies and tactics in the SEO space
Strong understanding of Google News best practices and optimization strategies
Strong understanding of analytics and data visualization tools, such as Looker, Google Analytics, and Excel/Google Sheets
Excellent verbal and written skills
Excellent presentation skills and knowledge with current presentation software tools

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 Remote US: $62,500.00 - $75,000.00
