Primary Responsibilities:
o This position requires a highly competent, self-directed individual who can help shape processes and define testing standards.
o We are looking for someone with experience in navigating variety of technical environments.
o The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently on their own as well as contribute to group projects and

complete tasks on schedule in a fast paced, upbeat environment.
o Potential candidates should have extensive experience testing functionality, compatibility, integration of web

applications.
o Design, develop, and execute automated tests using JavaScript frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, or Nightwatch
o Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects and other issues
o Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
o Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure product quality
o Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation
o Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness o Strong knowledge on developer tools like Chrome Dev/Firebug.
o Strong knowledge on modern AFT tools like Selenium Web Driver.
o Strong knowledge on deployment practices into Production environments and Jenkins pipelines in including

Jenkins DSL to create and modify pipelines.
o Knowledge on HTML5 and CSS and modern web development technologies.
o You understand the importance of not only testing but also reporting, especially in the context of CI/CD

tooling. You have experience with source code systems like Bitbucket or equivalent.
o Participate in daily cross-functional SCRUMs for projects running concurrently.
o Produce status reports, prioritize bugs, and contribute to Sprint planning sessions.
o Familiarity on how web applications are deployed in the context of cloud environments and container-based

technologies like docker.
o Lead the functional team, provide guidance and enable continuous skill development in the functional area o Manage and mentor QA engineers on your team, to grow their skills and prepare them for increased

responsibility.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor in Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech Degree) with 7+ years of experience in developing/scripting automated functional tests in JavaScript.
• The ideal candidate will have spent at least one year mentoring or leading junior QA engineers
• Interested in expanding your history of mentorship and guidance into a leadership role.
• Experience with JavaScript programming and frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, or Nightwatch
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and practices
• Expertise in automating complex head less applications and web applications using complex frameworks.
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr is a plus
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
• Familiarity with software configuration management, release management and database manipulation like git, bitbucket, Jenkins etc.
• Strong knowledge on modern cloud-based development practices in AWS/GCP and container native technologies like docker.
• Highly proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver and manage deadlines in an agile development environment.
